So, what exactly do I do?

The practice of 'acupuncture' can mean many different things to different practitioners.  My practice is based primarily on the systems described in the HuangDi NeiJing, the original classical acupuncture manual, written during China's Han Dynasty more than two thousand years ago.

The NeiJing describes health as a smoothly functioning circulatory state that allows the systems of the body to work harmoniously with each other, and within the greater environment in which we live.

Through the use of acupuncture and moxibustion, and at times additional therapies such as massage or herbal medicine, I work to help my patients achieve a more fluid and easy relationship both to their health and their world.
